Radiotherapy in Brain Tumors: Complications, Edema and Clinical Decision-Making

RAZIONALE

Radiotherapy remains a cornerstone in the management of primary and metastatic brain tumors. However, treatment related complications, particularly brain edema and radiation necrosis, represent major clinical challenges that significantly influence patients’ quality of life and therapeutic decision making. This webinar provides an integrated and practical overview of radiotherapy strategies in brain tumors, addressing current standards and ongoing controversies, while focusing on the recognition, prevention and management of radiation induced complications. A dedicated session will also critically review the available evidence on Boswellia as a complementary approach in brain edema. The objective is to offer clinicians evidence based and practice oriented guidance to support daily decision making in neuro oncology.
